Connelly a strong Christian conservative

To the editor:

I appreciate the support of the people of Union County who voted for me in the last election more than anyone will ever know. But today I am writing to ask you to consider voting Chad Connelly for Congress in Tuesday’s primary.

Many of you backed me because of my Christian faith, and that is the reason I am backing Chad. He is a Baptist Sunday School teacher and outspoken defender of the Bible. As the Director of Faith Engagement for the RNC, Chad has travelled the country talking about life, marriage, and other biblical issues. Now he is hoping to take that message to Washington.

Instead of giving you a list of his policies, I’ll give you one of his quotes. He often says, “If you’re wrong on life, you’re probably wrong about everything else. If you’re right on life, you’re probably right about everything else.” As a strong defender of the unborn, Chad’s biblical worldview points him in the right direction on every issue. He has been endorsed by Dr. Dobson from Focus on the Family fame, as well as the Freedom Caucus, and a host of elected officials in Washington and around the 5th District.

This past week, the list of strong Christian conservatives supporting Chad grew when former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee endorsed him. In announcing his endorsement, Gov. Huckabee said, “We need leaders in Congress who are capable of leading from the front and being THE driving force for this change; Chad Connelly is that leader. Chad has a history of standing up for conservative values, and isn’t afraid to quarrel with leadership in both parties. Chad will be a strong conservative representative for South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District. He will help President Trump enact his conservative agenda.”
