The Union County Chamber of Commerce had a great 2015 and is looking forward to an even better 2016.

The Chamber had a challenging year due to a new funding flow, facility renovations and the transition to a new Chamber Assistant. All three have proven to make the Chamber more efficient and effective.

The Chamber, its Board of Directors, members and partners are excited about what the future holds for the Chamber and Union County.

We are delighted that many of our small businesses and industries have chosen to be part of the Union County Chamber of Commerce. It is our hope that many others will choose to do so this coming year.

Union County is a progressive county with a very rich history in small business and industry. The Chamber has been a vital part of that history since 1904. A very effective co-op of Chamber Members, both small business, industry, non-profits and individuals have worked together and pooled resources to make Union County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

The Union County Chamber of Commerce would like to continue its legacy by growing its membership and having many others participate in the Chamber’s efforts.

There are a number of reasons why small businesses, industries and individuals should be members of the Chamber of Commerce.

As a member, your business visibility immediately increases through the local media, the Chamber website, Facebook, and available email blast.

Members participate in Business After Hours as a visitor, a host, or a sponsor which opens the door to hundreds of businesses and individuals for networking opportunities.

You have access to opportunities reserved just for Chamber Members. Sponsorships of Chamber events will allow your business to be center stage and directly address your market with media coverage.

Members receive special rates for Chamber sponsored events and activities. In addition, many member businesses offer discounts and services to other Chamber members and member businesses.

Businesses and customers are more likely to do business with Chamber members. Your membership enhances your credibility and provides a competitive edge.

Chamber members stay informed and have a voice. Members receive timely email and correspondence about business related events and activities. You are informed of focus groups, studies, surveys, and public hearings that affect businesses across the entire county.

Much work is done, day in and day out, which is vitally important to the success of Union County through your Union County Chamber of Commerce. To those who are current members, the Chamber Board of Directors say, “Thank you for your support of the Chamber and of Union County.” The Chamber is dedicated to the continuous task of working with and through local businesses, industries and individuals to ensure Union County’s continuous improvement and growth.

The Chamber encourages each and every business in Union County to be a part of the Chamber. Feel free to visit the Chamber office at 135 West Main, downtown Union at any time. Call the Chamber at 864-427-9039. Also, visit the Chamber website at and like us on Facebook.
