The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Blair Elaine Barber, 28, of 114 Thomas Street, Union, was charged with shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance on July 29. According to arrest warrants, $82.04 worth of merchandise Barber took from Bi-Lo was found in a wooded area near the store after police were called regarding Barber shoplifting. Warrants also state Barber had a quantity of hydrocodone on her person at the time.
— Claire Mackenzie Watkins, 28, of 858 Main Street, Buffalo, was charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent around 2:25 p.m. July 29. According to the arrest warrant, Watkins took money from McDonald’s, located at 605 North Duncan Bypass, Union, while working at the drive through.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests:
— Michael Allen Ham, 28, and Crystal Lynn Ham, 25, both of 302 Hart Street, Union, were each charged with trafficking psilocybin mushrooms and three counts of unlawful neglect of a child around 5:50 p.m. July 29.
— Keith Duran Gist, 26, of 274 Meansville Road, Union, was charged with failure to stop for a law enforcement vehicle, unlawful carrying of a firearm, and disobedience to a police officer around 12 p.m. July 29.
— Marion Douglas Young Jr., 52, of 106 Cottage Ave., Union, was charged with breach of trust around 12:22 a.m. July 30.
