COLUMBIA — BlueCross® BlueShield® of South Carolina and BlueChoice® HealthPlan of South Carolina are looking for fearless South Carolina schoolteachers — impactful men and women inspiring a generation of learners to Live Fearless®.
Beginning today, the companies’ Live Fearless campaign focuses on South Carolina teachers, asking them or others who know them to submit a story on how that teacher would like to bring the concept of Live Fearless to his or her classroom and what resources could help achieve that goal.
Entries may be in the form of pictures, videos or written descriptions submitted to www.livefearlessSC.com. At least one of the submissions will be rewarded.
“We all remember the teachers who made a difference in our lives,” said BlueCross President Scott Graves. “They were not afraid to try new things in the classroom, to find new ways to connect with and inspire students. Through our Live Fearless campaign, we want to hear their stories and recognize some exemplary teachers.”
Submissions may come from teachers, administrators or parents of students in any 5-year-old kindergarten through 12th-grade classrooms in South Carolina.
The campaign, initiated last year and ongoing, encourages and illustrates how South Carolinians “live fearless” every day by breaking new ground, overcoming adversity and expanding comfort zones. Members of the public may submit their own stories at any time or view these exemplary stories at www.livefearlessSC.com or by searching social media using the hashtag #LiveFearlessSC.
