PalmettoPride re-launches mobile app

COLUMBIA — PalmettoPride’s popular litter-busting hotline is now available on your mobile device. The mobile application provides for a user-friendly screen and features step-by-step prompts making it easier to bust litterbugs in your community.

PalmettoPride had sponsored the Trash Tracker application several years ago, but recently discontinued it to create an app that better suited the needs of the organization and one that directly related to the popular Litter Busters Hotline.

“The Trash Tracker app was a great foray into the mobile app world for PalmettoPride, but after a few years, we determined that many of the features our old platform provided were just not working for our needs,” said Sarah Lyles, executive director for PalmettoPride.

This user-friendly reporting application will prompt you for the information you need to provide: location, make and color of vehicle, and more importantly, the license plate information. Once the information is verified, the vehicle’s owner will receive a courtesy letter explaining the South Carolina litter laws.

Find it in your mobile app store now by visiting https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/palmettopride-litter-busters/id1381227227?mt=8
