Prayer for Saturday

Charles Warner | The Union Times The 2017-2018 school year is over, capped by graduation ceremonies and other programs for students from kindergarten through high school and college. The ceremonies symbolize another year past for these young lives and, depending on where they were at in their educational journey, their moving on to the next grade or to college or out into the world to begin making their way as adults. Regardless of where they are in that journey, we wish them well and hope and pray that they will allow God to lead, guide and direct them in life so that their lives may be blessed and become a blessing to others as well.

Read Deuteronomy 11:18-21

Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

— Deuteronomy 11:18 (NIV)

PRAYER: God Almighty, thank you for good role models who show us how to follow you. Amen.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What spiritual legacy will I leave?
