$800 scholarship now available

UNION COUNTY — Union County Family & Community Leaders (FCL) are offering an $800 scholarship to a Union County adult resident who has been, or is in the workforce, and is raising a family. This scholarship is also open to a Union County High School or Union Christian Day School senior.

The purpose of this scholarship is intended to honor and assist students in attaining a higher education in a certified technical school, college, or university. This scholarship does not apply to online students.

This award will be paid out in two installments of $400. The first payment will be made in time for your first semester, and the second in time for your second semester.

The award will be made directly to the qualified institution (technical school/community college, 4-year college or university) of your choice.

Office hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Office is closed 12-1 p.m.)

Completed applications are due on or before June 4, 2018. Applications received after this date will be disqualified.

FCL is a non-profit organization, and we support this scholarship fund and many smaller service projects through fund raising events during the year.
