UNION COUNTY — The search for a new head football coach at Union County High School could soon be over with the announcement of three finalists for the position.

In a statement released this afternoon, Jeff Stribble, Director of Personnel for the Union County School District, announced that the district “has narrowed the search for the next head football coach at Union County High School to three finalists.”

Stribble said the finalists are:

• Jason McManus, Offensive Coordinator at South Pointe High School

• Brian Robinson, Varsity Football Assistant at Union County High School

• Brian Thompson, Defensive Coordinator at River Bluff High School

Stribble said that “a second round of interviews will be held with each finalist on April 27. Soon thereafter, a recommendation will be made to the board for approval.”

The district is seeking a successor to current Head Football Coach Bradley Adams who is leaving the district to become head football coach at Woodruff High School.
