Ducan said that “in game two, Nina Newton served up well, along with Taylor Austin, and Wilson” while “in game three, Chelsey Dunlap served well along with Abby Gregory.
In game four, Duncan said that “Autumn Wilson had several aces and kills, along with Kayla Sinclair, and Mukiyah Garrett-Carson. Kendaria Jeter came in to win the match with serving up an ace and a point to win the match.”
Duncan said she was proud of how the Lady Tigers played during Monday’s “Pink Out” game in which the members of the team all wore pink shirts.
“Everyone played well, with passing, setting, and attacking the ball,” Duncan said. “We had very few over set or shanked balls. I am very proud of the way the played this ‘Pink Out.’”
The Lady Tigers next game is today (Wednesday) at 4:30 p.m. when they host Dawkins. Duncan said today’s game will be “our 8th grade recognition.” She added that “the tournament will be held Saturday against Dawkins. Seed will be determined after Wednesday.“
