UNION & BUFFALO — US House of Representatives Fifth District Rep. Ralph Norman will visit Union and Buffalo this Friday.
Norman’s visit was announced Monday by District Liaison Freddie Gault who said that Norman would be at the following locations at the following times during his visit:
• Bojangles, 534 Rice Avenue, Union, from 7:30-8:15 a.m.
• Fairview Diner, 1216 South Duncan Bypass, Union, from 8:20-8:50 a.m.
• Midway BBQ, 811 Main Street, Buffalo, from 12-1 p.m.
• Union County Courthouse Annex, 320 East Main Street, Union, from 2-3:30 p.m.
Gault said the morning visits to Bojangles and Fairview Diner will be opportunities for Norman to meet and speak with and answer questions from the public. He said the lunch visit at Midway BBQwill be to meet with veterans and that all local veterans are invited to attend.
As for the visit to the Courthouse Annex, Gault said Norman plans to meet with local officials and discuss Union County’s needs and how he might be able to help address them.
In addition, Gault said that from 9-10:15 a.m., Norman will visit and tour the Timken Company’s bearings plant at 408 Industrial Park Road, Union.
Norman, a Rock Hill businessman and former member of the SC House of Representatives, was elected to the Fifth District seat in a special election held June 24. He is serving out the unexpired term of fellow Republican Mick Mulvaney who vacated the seat after being confirmed by the US Senate as Director of the Office of Budget and Management.
