UNION COUNTY — The Union County Chamber of Commerce is excited to share with you an important strategy that we have been busy working on. As you know, in April, we hired a new Executive Director, Jami Trammell. Jami created and presented a two-year business plan that we unanimously adopted. This newly adopted business plan will guide the organization as we begin the process of reorganization and re-branding.
A key component of the plan is to change the corporate image of the Chamber. Our new brand will not only demonstrate the new direction of the Union County Chamber of Commerce, it will indeed unveil a new face for the organization! We believe this effort also represents a pivotal opportunity for us to re brand our community. We have taken the first step in re branding the Chamber by developing a new logo.
The Board has carefully and thoughtfully approved a design which includes a compass with a “U” in the center. The new logo defines our organization and our county on many levels. The new tagline declares that Union is “Where Business Comes Together”. Centrally located within an hour and a half’s drive of three major metropolitan service areas — Charlotte, Greenville, and Columbia — Union can aggressively compete on the major advantage of lower cost of doing business. Along that same vein, the Chamber is the center of business for Union County!
Have no doubt; the Chamber is committed to you whether you are a large corporation or a small business owner. As we unfold our business plan over the coming months, we fully expect that you will notice proactive and meaningful support of our existing businesses.
