Clemson recognizes area students

CLEMSON — The following students from the Union County area were named to the President’s List or Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2017 semester.

President’s List

James T. Stevens of Pacolet Mills, whose major is Mathematical Sciences.

Ollie V. Burns of Union, whose major is Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Dean’s List

Anna Marie Davis of Enoree, whose major is Visual Arts.

Robert L. Mitchell of Jonesville, whose major is General Engineering.

Anna D. Kirby of Pacolet, whose major is Sociology.

Joshua S. Wood of Pacolet, whose major is General Engineering.

Zachary W. Bishop of Pauline, whose major is Civil Engineering.

Hunter Thomas Boniface of Pauline, whose major is Civil Engineering.

Savannah L. Lawson of Pauline, whose major is Computer Science.

Ryan J. Padgett of Pauline, whose major is Mechanical Engineering.

Connor A. Hudson of Union, whose major is Electrical Engineering.

Amy Madilyn Andrews of Whitmire, whose major is Accounting.

To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
