UNION COUNTY — Everyone that knew Danny Little knew his love of baseball. If he wasn’t playing on the Tri-County League team, he was teaching children in the community how to play the game. He also played for Jonesville High School, on church leagues, and the Kelton softball team. Danny was a devoted baseball fan and wanted to share his love of the game to others around him.

On Feb. 12, 2015, Danny passed away, but his mother, Joan Little, wants to keep his love of baseball alive. By doing so, Mrs. Little made a ‘Grand Slam’ donation to USC Union Bantam Athletics in memory of her son. USC Union Lady Bantam coach, Amanda Warley, wishes to honor Danny’s memory by dedicating one of their spring games to the Little family. Once the season’s schedule is posted, USC Union will announce the date and time.

USC Union would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Little and everyone that supports their students and programs.
