God shows His love through mothers

Charles Warner | The Union Times It has been said that God couldn’t be everywhere at once so that’s why He created mothers. Well, God actually can and is everywhere at once, but there’s still a great deal of truth in those words. Children are taught that God is love and that is certainly true. It is equally true that God has many way to express His love for the human race, the greatest of them being the gift of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as a Living Sacrifice for our sins and the only pathway to eternal salvation. Jesus is the greatest expression of God’s love for us, but that is not His only expression of His love for us. One of those expressions are mothers, because after God no one loves a child more than their mother does and because of that a mother’s love for her child is, after the gift of Jesus Christ, the purest expression of the loving nature of God. So on Mother’s Day, remember your mother and her love for you and remember that, again, after Jesus Christ Himself, her love for you is the purest expression of God’s love for you.
