Over the last few years I have enjoyed my time writing for the Union Times. It started with a few articles here and there for some special events that developed into a long-term thing that I really grew to love.
COLUMBIA — It took us a little longer to get here, but the 2020 Gamecock Football Season finally arrived this past Saturday. While this year has seen a lot of things change and be “different,” some things remain the same. One of those things that has remained the same is the Gamecocks’ ability to lose games in crazy ways.
Editor’s Note: On Tuesday (September 15), the Union County School District announced that a member of the Union County High School Yellow Jackets Football Team had tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus. As a result the District suspended all Varsity practices and games until September 29. This meant the first game of the season for the Yellow Jackets against Clinton originally scheduled for September 25 will be postponed and will be played at a later date.
