LAURENS — Stanley Laurens Franks, 59, 301 Reedy Fork Road, Apt. 113, and husband of Cheryl Chisholm, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.

Born in Laurens, he was a son of the late Barbara Franks, was an Electrical and Electronic Engineer and attended Bethel United Methodist Church in Union.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Marlena Nicole Franks of Chester; a brother, Michael Franks of Laurens; stepchildren, Nathan and Lisa Chisholm; mother and father-in-law, Regina and James Chisholm; cousins, Danny and Libby Rhodes; and many additional loving family members.

Mr. Franks was predeceased by a loving aunt, Marie Franks.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 at The Kennedy Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Terry Mitchell with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends at The Kennedy Mortuary one hour prior to the service on Monday.
