LOCKHART — William David Black II, 19, of Lockhart, died unexpectedly Nov. 24, 2012 in Piedmont Medical Center.

William was the son of William David and Loretta Arnett Black, Jr., 116 Union Road in Lockhart. He was born in Chester County and a 2012 graduate of Union High School. William was a member of Harvest Time Ministries Tabernacle of Love in Chester where he recently became a Sunday school teacher. He was also active in the youth ministry at First Baptist Church of Lockhart. William also loved sports and was a big fan of the Union Yellow Jackets.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one brother, James Hinson (Jennifer) of the home; four sisters, Melinda Backstrom (John Jr.) of Ft. Benning Ga., Heather Arnett (Nathaniel Hope) of Chester, Dorothy Ashley (William B.) of Lockhart, Ruby Black

The family will be gathering during the day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Harvest Time Ministries, 118 Hamilton St., in Chester.

The visitation for William will be at Pollard Funeral Home in Chester from 7 p.m. Until 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 27.

William’s funeral will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012, at 2 p.m.at Harvest Time Ministries. The ministers will be Rev. Ben Hill and other clergy. He will be laid to rest in Chester Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Harvest Time Ministries, P.O. Box 741, Chester, S.C. 29706
