UNION — Mary Ann Glenn Woods, 80, 134 Timberlake Road, died Oct. 27, 2012.
A native of Union, she was the widow of Butler Woods and the daughter of the late Johnny Gist and Hattie Bell Glenn. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a graduate of Sims High School, and was retired from Ellen Sagar Nursing Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Walker of Union and Elizabeth (Steven L.) Green of Oxon Hill, MD; six sisters, Emma Jeter, Bessie Griffin, Juanita Rice, Ernestine Tucker, Nevonia Watson, and Helen Ruth Banks; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home.
