UNION — Mr. Jimmy Lee Faulks, 66, widower of Dorothy Messer Faulks, formerly of 207 Arthur St., Union, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at J.F. Hawkins Nursing Home, Newberry, S.C. Mr. Faulks was first married to the late Mary Lanier Knox Faulks.

Mr. Faulks was born in Spartanburg, SC, Nov. 5, 1945, a son of the late Walter Dewey Faulks and Mary Ellen Bell Faulks. He was formerly employed with Milliken & Co-Monarch Plant and was a member of Putman Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Juanita Johnson and Sara Green; a brother, Walter Dewey Faulks, Jr all of Union; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Faulks was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Faulks and a brother, James Allen Faulks.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. John Lee.

Visitation will be held 2-2:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at SR Holcombe Funeral Home.

The family will be at their respective homes.
