Pearline ‘Cake Lady’ Talley

SPARTANBURG — Pearline “Cake Lady” Talley, 67, 931 S. Liberty St., died Aug. 19, 2012.

A native of Union, she was the daughter of the late Saul Talley, Sr. and Mandaine Worthy Talley.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Talley; a special daughter, Nicole Dendy; four brothers, Allen Talley, Obidiah Talley, Saul Talley, Jr., and Terry Talley; five sisters, Leathia (Cleve) Brannon, Mandaine Jeter, Veronica (Minister Troy) Clark, Geneva Worthy, and Elizabeth (Roy) Pendergraph.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Kelton with burial in the in church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home of her sister at 858 S. Jonesville Highway, Jonesville, SC.
