UNION — Kenneth “Bug” Comer, 50, 113 Annie Lou Drive, died Aug. 10, 2012.

A native of Union, he was the son of Doris Bishop Comer of the home and the late Theodore Comer. He was a 1980 graduate of Union High School and a former employee of Inman Mills.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin Comer and Donnie Comer.

Survivors in addition to his mother include two brothers, Norman “Romeo” Johnson of Union and Lin Johnson of Greer; one sister, Tammy (Melvin) Blakely of Aiken; four nieces, Lachandra Blakely, Jasmine Blakely, Jaria Blakely, and Lastasha Comer; one nephew, Travis Lyles; one uncle, Wellford Bishop; and a host of cousins including one devoted cousin and caregiver, Zenobia Rice.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 from 7-8 p.m. at the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 2212 Santuc Carlisle Highway.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Michael A. Glenn Funeral Home, 361 Meansville Road. Burial will follow in the Saint Paul Society Cemetery.
