The Union Public Safety Department reported the following arrests:
— Chad Terrell Thomas, 28, of 310 Cabin Street, Union, was charged with reckless driving around 10:52 a.m. on Feb. 21. According to the arrest warrant, Thomas drove a car in a reckless manor, without due regard to safety of others, by driving too close and at several times just before striking another vehicle while on North Pinckney Street and Thomson Boulevard in Union.
— Winston Clinton Adams, 58, of 101 Gallman Street, Union, was charged with disorderly conduct around 4:25 p.m. on Feb. 21.
— Edwin Matthew Howse, 36, of 280 Lockhart Drive, Lockhart, was charged with driving under suspension around 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 21.
— Daniel Eugene Laney, 50, of 216 Westbridge Road, Columbia, was charged with disorderly conduct around 11:55 p.m. on Feb. 21.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest:
— Karen Alice Lawson, 49, of 706 Linersville Road, Buffalo, was charged with disorderly conduct around 1:10 p.m. on Feb. 21. According to the incident report, Lawson repeatedly interrupted proceedings during a court hearing. After several warnings about the disruptions, Lawson was directed by the judge to leave the court. After court proceedings were complete, the judge directed an officer to return Lawson to the court room, where he explained his actions and directed that she be remanded to Union County Jail and charged with disorderly conduct.
