UNION – The Union Daily Times received an email Thursday from Will Hickson, Union County High School athletic director, stating the following:
“Our athletes are chosen to participate in post-season play. It is the school’s choice whether or not to accept the invitation. Due to a discipline matter, no Union County High School football players will participate in the North/South football game.”
Chris Booker, a senior wide receiver, was selected in November to represent Union County in the All-Star game on Dec. 8 and was the only Yellow Jacket on the roster.
No other information was available.
