Chamber seeking items for goodie bags

The "Hot Fun in the Summertime" Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11, on Main Street in Union and the Union County Chamber of Commerce is seeking items to fill goodie bags for those who register their cars for the show.

Hart Insurance will be providing the goodie bags and the chamber wants to fill them with goodies from local businesses.

Any business that has fridge magnets, pens, pencils, coozies, coupons or anything else it would like to donate for these goodie bags should contact the chamber office at (864) 427-9039 as soon as possible.

Chamber personnel will be more than happy to come pick the items up if businesses cannot deliver them.

The chamber also is still looking for trophy sponsors for the car show.

Anyone who would like to be a trophy sponsor for $20 should contact Renee Alexander at the chamber. Trophies will be labeled with the name of the sponsoring company and its information.
