The incident report filed with the Union County Sheriff’s Office states a deputy was dispatched Monday night to Wallace Thomson Hospital in reference to someone being stabbed. The deputy spoke with the victim who said he was traveling down Sulphur Springs Highway with a friend when the man who attacked him stepped out into the road. The victim said he told his friend to hit the man with the car. The driver, however, stopped the car because of the man in the road.
The man in the road then approached the passenger side of the car where the victim was sitting. The victim got out of the car and the two started fighting. In the course of the fight the suspect cut the victim with an unknown object on the left side of his neck, arm, back and stomach. The victim said the two had been upset with each other because the attacker believed the victim set him up with some drugs.
The victim was taken to the hospital by his mother. The report states he was in his mother’s car at the time of the incident. The car was located in the hospital parking lot and the deputy found what looked like blood on the passenger side rear panel of the car. Photos were taken of the victims’s injuries.
The deputy was unable to locate either the incident scene or the suspect.
Assault And Battery
What began as an argument ended with a woman allegedly being knocked to the ground by another woman and then kicked by two other women. The incident report states that on Sunday morning the victim was in an argument with a woman at 336 Bailey Road. The victim said the woman hit her in the face. When she was on the ground, the victim said she believes two other women came up and kicked her in the head. The report states the victim had black eyes, two lacerations to her upper lip and an abrasion to the knee.
Criminal Domestic Violence
What apparently began as a dispute over a car ended with a woman allegedly being hit and bitten by a man.
The incident report states deputies were dispatched Saturday morning in reference to a domestic dispute. The victim told the deputies her attacker hit her above her right eye causing her face to swell and that he bit her on her left hand causing redness and swelling.
The woman said that earlier in the night he’d taken her car and she’d located it at a nightclub. She said before she could get the car, he drove off but she followed him to the Sonoco area where he dropped off a friend. This time she got possession of the car and discovered there was a female in the vehicle. She dropped off the female and she and her assailant went to her home.
The report states that man started becoming aggressive and she asked him to get his belongings and leave her home. Once they were inside her home, the victim said the man started hitting her in the face with his fist and bit her hand. The commotion woke her 13-year-old son and she told him to call 911. The woman said her attacker then left the building on foot.
Deputies were unable to locate the suspect but a warrant was issued for his arrest for criminal domestic violence.
More Criminal Domestic Violence
A man who allegedly threw a woman during an argument ended up in jail Sunday morning.
Michael Gist Jr., 47, 144 Gist Quarters Road, Union, is charged by the sheriff’s office with criminal domestic violence.
The incident report states the complainant said she’d had an argument with Gist during which he grabbed her by the throat and threw her to the floor. When Gist walked out of the building she locked him out. He then broke a window and came back inside.
The deputy dispatched to the scene placed Gist under arrest and transported him to jail.

Tiara Patrice Jeter, 19, 103 John Jeter Lane, Carlisle, charged Friday with petit larceny.
Willie Crawford Jr., 45, 334 Franklin St., Jonesville, charged Friday with public drunk.
Christopher Adam Siwecki, 33, 344 Mount Vernon Road, Union, charged Saturday with breach of peace.
Allison Heaven Gault, 19, 400 North Church St., Union, charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.
Johnny Beam Jr., 46, 102 Forrest Circle, Union, charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.
Bernard Sims, 37, 107 Culp St., Union, charged Sunday with simple possession of marijuana.
