Kingsmore Construction, down 9-7 in the fifth inning, blasted back in the final inning against Crisp & Sons to win the Dixie Youth Baseball City Championships 12-9 on Tuesday night.

Crisp & Sons struck first in game taking a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Kingsmore Construction hitter JD Cheek, however, tied the game in the third inning with a homerun.

Crisp & Sons would go on to take a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning before Kingsmore Construction tied it up 2-2 off an RBI by Dexlie Inman.

Kingsmore Construction then took a 6-2 lead in the top of the fifth inning. Crisp & Sons, however, would go on to plate seven runners in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 9-7 lead.

Behind two points and one inning left to play, Kingsmore Construction loaded the bases and ended up scoring five runs to win the game.

National League champion Kingsmore Construction beat their American League opponent in two games during the best of three series.
