For his Eagle Project, Rett helped start an Upward Bound Basketball League at his home church of Zion United Methodist Church in Prosperity. He also served as a coach. Rett — a 2010 honor graduate of Gilbert High School — will attend the University of South Carolina this fall, majoring in biomedical engineering.
