A person who subscribess to the online version of The Union Daily Times knows the day’s news long before the print version hits the streets and that’s how we want it.”

News never sleeps and The Times is committed to bringing the people of Union County the latest in local headlines — in print and online — and the newspaper wants the community to be involved.

The Union Daily Times entered the social networking scene last fall and its fan following on Facebook has steadily increased. The newspaper’s Facebook page is a place for conversation between readers, community members and the newsroom. Facebook users can become fans of The Times’ page and get updates on what can be found at the Web site each day as well as a look at photos from local events. The Facebook page also gives people a direct line to the newsroom.
