CHARLESTON, SC — Donna Gault Rector, 49, 227 Haas Street, Union, SC died Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Medical University of SC in Charleston, SC.

Ms. Rector was born in Union, SC, Oct. 14, 1960, a daughter of the late Harold Ray Gault and Martha Prince Gault. She was a graduate of Union High School, attended Spartanburg Technical College and was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving are a son, Jody Lynn Rector of Union; two grandchildren, Jaiden and Nathan Rector; a sister, Sherri Gault Rhinehart and husband Michael of the home; three brothers, Billy Gene Gault and wife Cindy of Spartanburg, Ronald Gault of the home and David Ray Gault of Union; three nephews, Christopher Rhinehardt, Joshua Gault and B.J. Gault, Jr; two nieces, Elizabeth and Deanna Gault; two great-nieces, Valerie Belue and Layla Jeter; two great-nephews, Aiden and Bryson Rhinehardt.

Ms. Rector was predeceased by a son, Logan Mitchell Rector.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Flat Rock Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1-2:30 p.m. Thursday at SR Holcombe Funeral Home prior to the service.
