Lady Jackets eliminated from playoffs

The Lady Jacket's dream season came to an end Wednesday at the hands of a team they had already beaten three times.

Blue Ridge defeated Union County 14-0 and 3-0 during a double header at the Timken Sports Complex. The loss drops the Lady Jackets out of the playoffs.

Union County made an historic run this season going undefeated during regular-season play. The Lady Jackets, who beat Blue Ridge twice in the regular season and once during the playoffs, end the year with a 21-2 record.
