The Lewis & Clark Circus came into town and set up shop at the Union County Fairgrounds on Monday morning with promises of high-flying acts, animals and fun.

Boy! did the circus deliver.

Children, parents and anyone else who went to the circus Monday enjoyed all that and more after workers spent much of the day getting the fairgrounds ready. There were camels, clowns and trapeze artists to name a few of the acts and if you missed the first two shows, there’s still a chance to catch the circus.

The event will again host two shows — 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. — tonight (Tuesday, April 27). Find more photos at our Facebook page.
