The Union County High School JV baseball team did more than beat Broome on Thursday night at the Timken Sports Complex — the Jackets clobbered the visitors 12-1.

Laracus Hughes went all the way on the mound for the Union County win.

Leading the home team at the plate were Gerald Alman and Cal Arnold who each had doubles.  Mark Jeter, Lee Wilburn, Keman Eison, Brandon Parker and Dean Diamaduros each also had single base hits for Union.

The Jackets JV baseball team concludes it's season tonight (Friday, April 16) with an away game at Chapman in a doubleheader that also sees the varsity team in action in game two.
