Samuel Bobo, William Owensby and Jack C. O’Dell were among seven veterans honored for their continous membership in the American Legion. The veterans were each presented with a “Certificate of Continuous Membership” by the The General Harry M. Arthur American Legion Post 22 Monday evening. Bobo and O’Dell have been members of the Legion for 60 years while Owensby has been a member for 50 years. Also honored but not present were T.C. Wylie Jr., Paul Greer, and Weldon Eaves who’ve each been members for 60 years and Donald Bobo who has been a member for 50.
