Keith James Hardy, 23, 512 South Pinckney St., Union, is charged by the Union Public Safety Department with distribution of crack cocaine within a half mile of a playground and distribution of crack cocaine.
The warrants issued for Hardy’s arrest state on Nov. 13, 2009, he sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant who made the purchase with funds provided by public safety officers. The sale took place on South Church Street within a half mile of the playground on West Henrietta St.
Hardy was taken into custody Sunday night.
Burglary
A Union man ended up in jail this past weekend after allegedly stealing several lawn care items from a local business.
Donald Gregory Boulware, 28, 317 Westminster Circle, Union, is charged by the public safety department with petit larceny, grand larceny and burglary third-degree
The warrant issued for Boulware’s arrest on the petit larceny charge states on April 5 he stole a a Stihl leaf blower from a vehicle parked on Wilson Street. The leaf blower is valued at approximately $400.
The warrant issued for Boulware’s arrest on the burglary third-degree charge states on April 5 he illegally entered a storage building at 111 Thomas St. The grand larceny warrant states Boulware stole a Stihl leaf blower, two Stihl weedeaters and a Stihl hedge trimmer with a combined value of $1,467 from the Thomas Street storage building.
Grand Larceny
Boulware is also charged with grand larceny in a separate incident. The warrant issued for his arrest on this charge states in November 2009 he stole a baseball autographed by the 1950 Brooklyn Dodgers from a residence at 306 West South St. The baseball has an appraised value of $1,000-1,350.
Boulware was taken into custody early Saturday morning.
Assault And Battery
A 14-year-old juvenile was arrested Thursday afternoon for allegedly beating up another teenager at school.
The incident report states the teen attacked the victim hitting him repeatedly with his fists and knocking him to the ground. While the boy was on the floor his attacker continued to hit him and the victim either couldn’t or chose not to fight back.
When questioned about the incident, the report states the 14-year-old admitted to the attack. He was charged with assault and battery and released into the custody of a parent.

Wilbur Thompson, 65, 104 McKanic Road, Union, charged Friday with trespass after notice.
Kevin Scott Groves, 35, 808 Webber Lake Road, Union, charged Saturday with disorderly conduct.
William Jeffrey Sinclair, 38, 521 Thompson Blvd. Union, charged Friday with driving under suspension.
Shayna Brenna West, 22, 1111 Lakeside Drive, charged Saturday with driving under the influence.
Joshua Brandon Norman, 25, 210 Kissy Creek Circle, Union, charged Saturday with driving under the influence and ABC violation.
Danielle Lynn Wilkins, 24 224 Old Shetley Place, Union, charged Friday with public drunk.
Lauren Hope Howell, 19, 165 Will Palmer Road, Union, charged Friday with striking fixtures on a highway, failure to register, too fast for conditions, improper vehicle license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
