Greenwood beats JV squad 12-7

Union County’s junior varsity baseball team was handed a 12-7 loss by Greenwood Tuesday night.

Cal Arnold, who led Union, was 3-5 with two doubles and a homerun. Jake Walton was 2-4 with two singles. Dillon Rogers was 1-2 with a single. Jamal Rice was 1-3 with a single.

Pitchers for Union were Mark Jeter, Keman Eison, Bubba Means and Nathan Williford.

Next, the JV team will travel to play Broome 6 p.m. tonight.
