The Union County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2010 Annual Members Meeting and Awards Banquet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Union.

Anyone who would like to attend is reminded they must RSVP for the event by Wednesday, March 10. You do not need to be a chamber member to attend — the event is for chamber members, their guests and any individual or business interested and would like to attend.

The banquet/meeting will feature chamber recognition of a host of individuals, businesses and industries for their contributions to Union County over the past year. The Industry of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Service Group of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Shining Star, Friend of the Chamber and the Presidents Choice Award each will be presented at the event.

In addition to the awards, there will be dinner, entertainment and presentations by key leaders in the community who will give important updates on the good things happening in Union County in the areas of education, health care and economic development.
