The center’s purpose is to assist community members who have questions about their census form or need assistance with it. The Lockhart assistance center will be located at Town Hall and Lockhart Cafe. Its hours are as follows:
• Monday through Thursday, 1-4 p.m. and Friday noon-3 p.m.
• Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at Lockhart Cafe from 5-8 p.m. and Saturday from noon-6 p.m.
Assistance centers also will open in Union on Friday and in other Union County communities later. Watch The Union Daily Times for more information on those.
