The two were arrested after Pendergrass allegedly sold crack cocaine to a person who turned out to be an undercover operative with the county narcotics unit. The incident report states the sale was made in a parking lot within a half mile of Union Christian Day School. After the sale, Pendergrass left the parking lot and traveled down Meansville Road before being stopped by deputies near the Toney Road.
When he was placed under arrest, deputies discovered Pendergrass’ drivers license was supspended. They also found a quantity of marijuana in his pants pocket along with the recorded currency the operative used to make the drug buy plus another $300.
Based on this, investigators obtained a warrant to search Pendergrass’ home where he lived with Little, described in the report as his girlfriend. A search of the premises turned up a Smith & Wesson .357 revolver and holster; a quantity of white, rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine; digital and mechanical scales; four bottles of pills; loose pills; and several partially smoked marijuana cigarettes.
Little was arrested following the search. Both she and Pendergrass remained in the Union County Jail as of Friday morning.
