UNION, SC — Mrs. Lillie Mae Harris, 98, Widow of Mr. James Lemmie Harris, formerly of 115 Hillcrest Dr., Union, SC, died Sunday Jan. 31, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.

Born in Union S.C. Oct.7, 1911 a daughter of the late Mae Reeves Oshields. Mrs. Harris was a life long member of First Baptist Church were she was a member of the Ladies Senior Sunday School Class. She had formerly been employed with Stanley Homes and was a homemaker.

Survivors include one sister, Cathleen Watkins of Fl.; a niece, Carolyn Watkins Clark and husband Mike; five nephews, Eddie Harris, Denver Harris James E. Harris Jr., all of Union, Wayne Watkins of Florida, Buddy Watkins of Mississippi; and niece Christie Knight of Lake Murray, SC.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday Feb. 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Union Memorial Gardens with Reverend Spencer Ledford officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to First Baptist Church 405 E. Main St. union sc 29379.
