Mr. Gregory was born in Jonesville, Oct. 25, 1931, a son of the late Johnny Sharp Gregory and Mary Azalee Proctor Gregory. He retired from United Merchants, Union Plant and was a member of Gilead Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sisters, Martha A. Gregory of the home, Mary G. Toney and Louise G. Jenkins, both of Union; three brothers, B.F. Gregory and wife Cheryl of Jonesville, Charlie Gregory of Union and Wallace Eugene Gregory and wife Wanda of Pamplico, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gregory was predeceased by a brother, Andrew Jackson Gregory.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Lawton Neely.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at the Holcombe’s Jonesville Chapel.
