CARLISLE — A Union man was killed when he was thrown from his car in a single-vehicle accident early Sunday morning.

Union County Coroner William E. Holcombe said Brian Jeter, 24, Toluca Street, died from injuries he received in the accident. Holcombe said Jeter was the fifth person to die in an automobile accident in Union County this year.

In a report filed on the S.C. Highway Patrol’s Office of Communications News Release Message Board, L. Cpl. Jeff Gaskin stated the accident occurred at 1:49 a.m. three miles north of Carlisle on S.C. 215. Gaskin said the 1998 Nissan four-door was nortbound when it ran off the right side of the road, struck several trees and overturned. He said the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

Pee Wee,

I just can not believe you are gone so soon. I just got off work with you Friday morning and me and you had an awesome conversation. If I would knew or thought that would have been my last time talking to you I would held on to you. I love you cousin from the bottom of my heart and you dont know how I feel inside and how hurt I am. I never would have thought you and Marie would have left our family this soon. It hurts so bad and the only thing I can do is cry cause that is the only way the pain would ease. I know God would strength me where I am weak but to have you and Marie in our present this life would be more easier. We love you two but GOD loves you the best.

Love,

Jenell Jeter
