The wedding is planned for Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Philippi Baptist Church, Union.
The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Lander University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed at Mary Black Memorial Hospital in Spartanburg. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Williams, all of Union.
Mr. Watters is a 2008 graduate of Lander University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. He is employed at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Watters of Moline, Ill., Ms. Nancy Watters of Hillsdale, Ill. and the late Myra Jones and the late Dennis Moss.
