A Union man is accused of calling 911 to complain about officers trying to arrest him.

Kevin Tyrone Glenn, 39, of 219 South Church St. was charged Wednesday by the Union Public Safety Department with unlawful use of 911, violation of the city’s noise ordinance and resisting arrest.

Warrants signed by Officer Robbie Vanderford said Glenn had music playing in his apartment that could be heard 300 feet away. He refused to open the door after being notified he was being arrested for violating the noise ordinance. He called 911 four times in a 40-minute time period demanding that police officers stop knocking on his door.
