If you think it’s easy to back up a wagon with a tractor, you’re wrong, Raymond Sligh says.
“You had better know what you are doing,” Sligh said. “You can back with a pair of mules or a pair of horses any day.”
Sligh, longtime Clemson Extension Service associate, said folks will see watch tractor wagon backing and a lot of other farm skills displayed during the 7th Annual Union County Antique Farm Equipment Show on Saturday, Sept. 19. “It’s a lot of fun for the whole family,” Sligh said. “The only reason we do this is to give people a look at the past.”
