Luttner places first for the Jackets, Sinclair second for Lady Jackets

Jesse Luttner won the cross country meet at Clinton on Wednesday and Amanda Sinclair placed second.

The Jackets performed well on a very tough course. Both the boys' and girls' teams finished second behind Riverside.

Luttner placed first overall, running a 20:11, followed by Brandon Burton in third (20:26), Cody Sills in seventh (20:59), Ethan Turner in10th (21:12), Michael Kitchens in 21st (22:57), Cameron Cook in 29th (24:02), Cash Armstrong in 31st (24:40) and Allan Walker in 40th (31:40).

Sinclair led the Jacket girls in second place (22:55), followed by Christa Green in third (23:21), Hydia Greene in fourth (24:06), Kirsten Sanders in 10th (26:00), Alyssa Edwards in 18th (33:56) and Angie Mahorne in 22nd (49:53).

The Jackets will host Woodruff at home on Thursday, Sept. 24.
