A wreck involving two pickup trucks on the Duncan By-Pass Tuesday afternoon prompted the response of multiple emergency units. Chief Sam White of the Union Public Safety Department said Juan Mendoza Antonio of 110 Kissy Creek Circle was traveling north in a white 1999 Nissan truck and attempted to make a left turn into West Towne Plaza at the traffic light. Antonio turned his vehicle into the pathway of a Toyota driven by Coley Dixon Jackson of 141 Morningside Drive, who was traveling south. Antonio was charged with failure to yield right of way and having no driver’s license. Responding with the public safety were the Union County Rescue Squad, EMS and the City of Union Fire Department.
