Insurance rating better

Bonham Fire Department was Class 6 and effective Oct. 1 will go to Class 5. This means we have a much better rating.
All whose property is within 1,000 feet of a fire hydrant will get a much better insurance rate. Not all citizens will get this better rate because they are more than 1,000 feet from a hydrant.
You can tell if you are that close to a hydrant and if so notify your insurance agent so they can reclassify you. We hope this will be a big help to many of the citizens of Bonham Fire District.
