He was born June 17, 1932, in Blair, the son of the late Sam and Sally Feaster Crosby. He had been retired for many years.
Surviving are six brothers, David (Polly) Crosby of Union, Ervin, Tom and Sammie, and James (Lois) Crosby, all of Santuc, and Bennie Lee Crosby of Newberry; nieces and nephews from Santuc, Union, Chester, Charlotte, Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at Hassion Hill Baptist Church, Blair, by the the Rev. Edward Jeter. Burial in church cemetery.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, August 13, 2009, from 6-7 p.m. at Gibson & Brown Funeral Home.
