A native of Union County, she was the daughter of the late Virginia Means Garner. She was a graduate of Sims High School, a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, and a former employee of the S.C. Department of Corrections.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at 12 noon at Lincoln Memorial Gardens.
