A joint Union County Sheriff’s Office/Union Public Safety Department drug bust deemed “Summer Slam” is continuing as officers round up the last of the 56 suspects they expect to arrest.

By Thursday morning, the sheriff’s office had arrested all 28 people officers planned to take into custody.

Chief Sam White of the Union Public Safety Department said officers there had seven more people they planned to arrest, also for a total of 28.

White praised narcotics officers with the city and the county involved in the cooperative effort.

“All three have done an outstanding job working to try and protect Union County,” White said. “The drug problem is a menace to our young people.”

Following is a complete list of the names of those arrested, with their addresses:

Timothy Terrell Chamberlin, 32, of 310 Cabin St., Union, charged by the sheriff’s office with distribution of crack and charged by the public safety department with distribution of crack cocaine.

Tammy Ann Gallman, 36, of 200 Tillman St., charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within one-half mile of a school.

Cedrick O. Tucker, 23, 583 Labaw Road, Carlisle, charged with distribution of cocaine.

Rebecca Lynn Hooks, 409 South Second St., Lockhart, charged with distribution of a Schedule 4 narcotic, distribution of a Schedule 4 narcotic within one-half mile of a school, distribution of marijuana and distribution of marijuana within one-half mile of a school.

Emzlie Montrail Young, 361 Jonesville-Lockhart Highway, Jonesville, charged with distribution of marijuana.

Kimberly Ann Fowler, 125 Camelot Drive, Union, charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a Schedule 4 narcotic.

Jonathan Matthew Long, 28, 1493 Lukesville Road, Union, charged by the sheriff’s office with distribution of a Schedule 4 narcotic and distribution of a prescription drug; charged by the public safety department with distribution of a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance within one-half mile of a school.
